Continue north thru one stop sign to 2nd stop sign, turn left onto Doolittle Rd. What ages are recommended for children? We are for children of any age, although its best for 3 through 8.
Is it outside? Yes, the entire event is outside. The pavillion area is covered but open on all sides.
Is parking free? Yes. Please park head-in BETWEEN the pink flags. Don't worry, we'll point this out when you arrive.
How should I dress? This is Colorado, and you'll be on steep terrain on a mountain, so the weather changes frequently and rapidly. We recommend you dress like you're going hiking in the mountains, with comfortable footwear that has good traction, and warm layers of clothing. Early afternoons tend to be mild to hot, while early evenings tend to be cool to cold.
May I use a stroller? Yes, but it is very difficult to use on the story trail and maze -- it's easier to carry a child in those areas.
Is an interpreted (signed) tour available? Yes, we're happy to offer the story trail with an ASL interpreter. Please contact us in advance to request this.
Is this your first year? Yes, as a pumpkin patch. Although for over 20 years we've produced major autumn or Halloween-themed events in the area. See our history.
May I just buy pumpkins? Yes, see our prices.
When's the best time to get pumpkins? The first two or three weeks are best. By the end of the third week, the selection starts to thin out. But we do receive new pumpkins weekly from our local growers, until the first frost.
Is this a family farm? Yes, tho its more accurate to describe it as a ranch. We raise cattle and horses here.
Is smoking allowed? Nope.
May I bring my dog/cat/pet? Sorry, but no. Verified service dogs are an exception.
May I schedule a photo shoot there? Yes, this is quite common. We highly recommend Mag's Minis and offer a discount if you use her for a photo shoot here. Contact us for details.
May I schedule a party there? Yes, please contact us to make arrangements.
May I bring my own food & drink? Yes, we have picnic tables in the pavillion area. No alcohol please.
